Local-first

Chats, projects, runtime state, logs, and auth live on the device by default. Network features are user-initiated.

AI-aware

When you use AI, prompts and selected context may be sent to OpenAI or Codex services through your signed-in account.

Runtime included

TextOS packages an Android app-private Linux runtime, recovery flows, and optional power-user bridges such as WebDesk and SSH/SFTP.
